Complete with colors and concise annotations, this Word Wall is an ideal reference for students on their journey to mastery. I have an entire wall in my classroom dedicated to Word Wall use, so I print each sheet on 8.5"x11" and post words as we cover them in class. Experience
I have been teaching high school math for 13 years in an urban classroom.
Teaching style
Beginning with the mindset that all students can learn math, even those who struggle with it, I have proceeded to tackle the tough question: How do I best organize my classroom and lessons to make this happen? The most natural teaching style for me is one characterized by efficiency and structure. I am always looking for ways to better explain concepts and clearer ways to organize complicated information.

Additional biographical information
In 2012, I changed careers from structural engineering to teaching. Wanting to get into the classroom as quickly as possible, I joined Teach For America and have been teaching ever since! Over the past 12 years I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus, Calculus, and Physics.
