Both Distance Formula and Slope Formula (provided on the flow chart for easy reference) are used to answer the questions. To enhance the usefulness of the flow chart (since there are multiple ways to classify a quadrilateral) an additional "path" (based on the definition of a shape) is included at

About the store

Experience

I have been teaching high school math for 13 years in an urban classroom.

Teaching style

Beginning with the mindset that all students can learn math, even those who struggle with it, I have proceeded to tackle the tough question: How do I best organize my classroom and lessons to make this happen? The most natural teaching style for me is one characterized by efficiency and structure. I am always looking for ways to better explain concepts and clearer ways to organize complicated information.
