Some of my proudest moments as a teacher come from seeing hesitant readers grow into confident, joyful learners. I’ve been part of the district literacy team and the RTI committee at my building. These teams are dedicated to evidence- and research-based literacy instruction and supporting colleagues through professional development. Also, I am Wilson Reading System® Level 1 Certified. My professional training is grounded in evidence-based literacy instruction, and I continuously seek new ways to grow and learn—because, as I always tell my students, learning never stops!
