This resource was designed to teach, practice and evaluate students understanding of SC.5.N.2.2 scientific investigations should be replicated. It include a student friendly image that can be used for an anchor chart. A short text and two scenarios for students to evaluate. Then there is an 11 questions exit ticket to evaluate students understanding of the benchmark. These items are written at an achievement level 4. The item is a word document so you can edit to fit your needs. Answer keys are

Text explain the benchmark SC.5.N.1.5 Recognize and explain science doesn't follow authentic method. Include 8 questions for students to demonstrate their comprehension of the text.

A scenario of a scientist conducting an experiment with magnets and students are asked to identify the testable question, interpret data, and identify the control group.

File contains a three column chart with directions and student questions on page 1. Page 2 contains shapes rectangles, circles, and triangles that can be sorted by size, color, or shape.

This is a resource that goes with the Ready Gen leveled reader for fourth grade. It has a graphic organizer for small group instruction on informational standard 3 (events) and independent practice of FSA test prep on informational standard 5 (text Structure) for fourth grade. There are three different lessons with images of the text included for each of the three lessons with answer keys.

This can be used for students to record their responses to text based questions.
