Teaching style

My daily classroom goal is to aid students to be good citizens, supporting and learning "with and from each other," as they grow toward becoming highly independent, responsible learners.

Additional biographical information

I'm an avid gardener, love snowshoeing, and curling - fortunate to be married to an American hero. My husband retired after 24 years from the United States Army as a Master Aviator serving our nation in numerous locations around the world, deployed to war zones for 9 years of his military career. He earned 5 Meritorious Service Medals, a Bronze Star Medal, two Purple Hearts, the Army Air Medal as well as many other ribbons and medals. - I have two fun and beautiful grown step-daughters! - Together, my husband and I enjoy bowling, boating, and traveling North America by motorcycle; we have traveled tens-of-thousands of motorcycle miles, including a 6,000 mile trip of the Canadian Maritimes.
