Teaching style
My approach to teaching is creative, encouraging, and step-by-step. I focus on making art accessible and fun—whether it’s through guided drawing lessons or interactive craft projects. I love breaking complex designs into simple, doable steps so learners feel confident and proud of their work, no matter their skill level.
Awards & shining teacher moments
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of seeing students go from unsure to unstoppable with their art. One of my proudest moments is when a student told me my class helped them discover their love for drawing—and they’ve been creating ever since. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do.
My own education history
My background is in art and design, with a focus on both traditional techniques and digital illustration. I'm constantly exploring new tools and styles to keep evolving as both an artist and educator. The iPad has become one of my favorite creative tools for making art that’s modern, clean, and vibrant.
