This resource will help your students to learn and practice the volume of a sphere. It is written in student friendly language and can be used in special education settings. It includes guided and practice examples as well as extensions. It can be used as a full period, no prep lesson. All examples are given the radius of the sphere. Happy teaching!

I have taught high school math for over 20 years. My passion is teaching math clearly and creatively, with a particular focus on Geometry, Trigonometry & Calculus.

Teaching style

I am creative, organized, and energetic. I love to bring my Theater background to the classroom to teach math enthusiastically.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have twice been nominated for the Presidential Award for Excellence in teaching Mathematics. I also have served as a Rhode Island Learning Champion and on the Mathematics Advisory Board for the RI Dept of Education.
