About the store
I am a long-term substitute! Though I do not hold a degree in education, I hold plenty of experience with children. With seven years in childcare facilities and three of my own, I am prepared to deal with children every day. Thus, when asked to be a full-time fourth grade teacher I jumped at the opportunity. However, when you are not familiar with all the curriculum resources available to you, you must improvise. So I have decided to share what I have created to make my class enjoy our time and work with me instead of against me with you all!

Fractions Be Buggin'!
Fractions, what a drag....... My fourth graders panicked at the thought of fractions and, to be honest, I did too. Since it has been such a scary thing for my fourth graders, I have done what I could to make it more interesting and easier. This includes A LOT of practice. Here we have a fraction sheets practicing both identifying fractions based on pictures and fraction sheets that give the fraction that must be shaded in to make the picture! So I have decided to share what I have created to make my class enjoy our time and work with me instead of against me with you all!
Teaching style
Freedom and mental health are key! Our children want to feel as though their wants and needs are valued. This being said, I like for everything I create to be colorful, new, engaging, and interactive. Additionally, though some worksheets may be seatwork, everything is designed with the ability to be used in small groups, big groups, and individually.This allows for me to feel the mood and activity level of my kiddos out at the beginning of the day and decide what kind of seating we will be using without it messing up my plans.
My own education history
I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and am currently working towards a Master's in Clinical Mental Health.
Additional biographical information
I may not be a certified teacher, but I try very hard to make up for that with resources, activities, and careful consideration. I follow standards, requirements, and expectations of New Mexico.
