The 5w Questions in Spanish
Carteles de las 5 (o 6 en este caso) preguntas traducidas al Español. One page poster for each of the 5 W's in Spanish. (When? What? Where? When? Why? ) Includes one more question: How? Each poster includes sample uses of the question. I use them to help my kids ask questions while reading, as well as for sentence extenders and to help us make inferences. Hope you like them! Student Reference Cards - Number words in English and Spanish
Set of student reference cards (half sheet each) with number words in English and Spanish. ELL students are always in need of reference tools to write English words accurately. Help your students with these reference cards that you can cut and laminate back to back or as is. This may also be a good tool for Spanish teachers. Use it as a poster if you have a poster maker at your disposal.

Experience

Teaching style
I am a Humanistic teacher. I try to help my students become great people and great at everything they do. I look at my kids as people who will one day be part of society. Therefore, I teach the whole person not just the student and try to still in them good working habits. The family, the student and I put forth a great deal of team effort to help us achieve our goals. I keep in mind all aspects of my students; their family life, their individual needs and their social/emotional well being.

My own education history
I am a product of ESL/Bilingual education. I became a teacher because I saw the need to be an advocate for bilingual children. I knew what it meant to be one and saw a great need for role models and teachers who understood their language and cultural needs.
