I earned by BA in psychology from The College of the Holy Cross 2012, my BS in Communication and Sciences disorders from UNH and my MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UNH. Description: A silly collection of pictures involving cartoon lizards and real picture scenes from south Florida. Great for sentence expansion and WH questions. Images are static, but inferencing and world knowledge can be easily incorporated. Use for young learners, sentence expansion, AAC, wordless picture book, etc. Duration: Anywhere from 30 min-1 hour, maybe even longer if you really delve into vocabulary and inferencing. /sp/ S-blend Snake Sliders
Snake sliders to practice /s-blends/ for the /sp/ combination. For example S-----PIE---SPY. Great visual to use as pre-teaching or instruction for s-blends. 5 total combinations here. Then, there are individual snakes to use for other /s-blends/. I like to follow up with less visual models; start heavy with the models and instruction then fade to more naturalistic representations of words.
