About the store
I began my career as a teacher's aide shortly after completing my student teaching. I gained more experience through substituting in two school districts the following year. In 2000, I began teaching at the smallest elementary school in our district. I loved it! I taught fourth and fifth grade Language Arts, science, and history. Many things have changed since becoming an educator, but my love for my students and my desire to make a difference is a constant. Currently, I work in the classroom, just not in the role as teacher! I support students in an alternative school setting as a Day Treatment Specialist. It's a different role, but I have the best of both worlds.
