Great review for math centers or independent work as we get ready to wind up the school year. Students will practice math concepts such as addition and subtraction with and without regrouping, number patterns, number concepts, and identifying base ten blocks to 1,000 at a second grade level with fun, self-correcting, picture puzzles. This is a print and go, self-correcting, literacy activity. Students will match the contraction to the words that make it up. As students cut and paste, it will reveal a picture ensuring the correct answers!
This book is used as a place for students to record their findings while studying the five different regions of the United States. When printed and placed in book form, students are able to travel to the library with their books to continue their research. Students are given space to:
*Share what they already know about the regions of the United States.
*Write down definitions of words that they will encounter when talking about and studying the specific regions.
