I created this resource for my special education students. Included are three worksheets. The first asks students to measure an object to the half inch, the next one asks students to measure to the quarter inch, and the last one asks students to measure to the eighth inch. The rulers on the worksheet have labels for each fractional part of an inch to support emerging learners.

I graduated with my BA in Early Childhood Education from Boston College, and earned my M Ed in Special Education (with a focus on severe disabilities) from Vanderbilt University.
Additional biographical information
I teach special education for 9-12 grade. Half of the day, I work with students in the life skills classroom. These students have severe to profound disabilities. The other half of the day I co-teach inclusion English and math classes with a general education teacher. The students in those classes have mild to moderate disabilities.
