Digestion Loop Game

This activity covers 30 key words on the topic of digestion. Primarily it is designed as a whole class activity but pupils can be grouped together if required. I enjoy the freedom that I have to wlk round the class with this activity. I can have many 1:1 conversations with pupils about the topic as well as encouraging group discussions.

Experience

I qualified as a teacher in Worcester, UK, in 1995. I have held leadership roles including Head of KS3, Head of Chemistry and Head of Science. I have taught in a variety of OFSTED outstanding schools; Maiden Erlegh School and Charters School.

Teaching style

My teaching has always been pupil centred. Based on strong teacher - pupil working relationships. I endorsed the Every Child Matters approach developed by the Government in 2003. The activities that I have developed are as inclusive as possible.
