I have taught grades 1st-5th. I am on my 17th year of teaching. I taught 9 years in Jefferson County (Louisville, KY) and 8 years in Pasco County (Florida). I have experience with Title I, ESE, ELL, Gifted, and New Comer students.

With this activity, students will have $20 to "spend" at the store. They will have to buy some needs first-a food item, a drink item, and two clothing items, before spending on some wants. There is also a worksheet where students draw something they are saving up for and how they can save up for that item! PDF file
