Students will cut and sort rules and laws

The story of the Gingerbread Man is accompanied by a story elements graphic organizer that the students can fill out to determine the theme of the story (this is a good activity for secondary kids--but you can leave out for primary). Then the students will get to disguise their Gingerbread Man to keep him from getting eaten!

With this activity, students will have $20 to "spend" at the store. They will have to buy some needs first-a food item, a drink item, and two clothing items, before spending on some wants. There is also a worksheet where students draw something they are saving up for and how they can save up for that item! PDF file
