7th grade - 16 targeted vocabulary words
8th grade - 15 targeted vocabulary words
This packet includes 20 pages of speech sound targets to encourage home practice and the student's speech/language accountability, plus one "blank" charting page to create your own speech sounds and/or speech phrase and sentence targets. These word lists are also helpful when creating articulation activities and targets for Cycles Approach treatments.
Each page of target speech sounds includes:
- 12 practice words
- Area for student to "check" each day that he or she practice her target words
This product includes three total pages: 2 blank data sheets (One copy with shaded boxes, one copy without) and one example sheet to show how I find it most helpful.
Often we therapists are required for form groups to accommodate all of our students, and this data sheet has been extremely helpful. I typically use this form for all of my speech groups during the day, then copy the data onto the child's individual data sheet. It has made my days MUCH more organized.
Each set includes:
Labels for each word “family” (for use on empty can, small box, etc.
3 Suffix sets (“-at”, “-et”, “-it”)
6 S-blend Prefix sets (“sl-”, “sp-”, “st-”, “sm-”, “sn-”, "sk-")
Each set can be used to target rhyming, phonological awareness, articulation, or word order.
Organization is key with our large speech/language caseloads. This document, 6 pages of charting, will increase efficiency and organization dealing with IEP dates, case managers, student information, etc.
Each student is given the following parts of sentences: Subject, Verb, and Predicate (Location). Each part is cut out and mixed, then the student must formulate appropriate sentences using all sentence structure elements provided with the help of colored chart.
Speech-language "homework" page to send between school and home. Allows the SLP to inform parents what their student worked on at school, and allows the parent a space to communicate back with the SLP.

About the store
Teaching style
My intervention style is very student-centered. I really enjoy letting the student occasionally "drive" the session to see where their interests lie, and how they prefer to learn.
My own education history
I hold my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Disorders.
