I have been teaching in a self contained classroom for the deaf using a Total Communication approach since 1995. I also work in Early Intervention with families who have a child with hearing loss. The work is challenging and exhausting but I wouldn't want to do anything else!

Additional biographical information
My husband has a bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss. My older son has unilateral hearing loss and my younger son is profound bilaterally. I eat, sleep and breathe life in the deaf community!
