About the store
I have taught in many different Special Education settings. At times, I struggle to find just the right materials to teach. I specialize in making materials that follow the grade level curriculum at varied reading and ability levels. I also custom make Life Skills sheets. Please feel free to email me requests for worksheets of this nature. Edit: This year I got a new position at a vocational school for Computers/Visual & Performing Arts at the high school level (although assignments will be modified). I will be teaching a mash-up of art, technology, and life skills.

8th Grade - Exponents & Scientific Notation Quiz - Modified - Resource Room

Hello! This listing is for a quiz that will assess scientific notation and exponent rules. I used this with my 8th grade Resource Room. It is very straight forward and includes negative integers. It is editable and includes an answer key. ***All materials have been modified for my students with disabilities. I keep the formatting of the test and practice test the same to give the students opportunity for repetition. I also may highlight directions and always include spiral review. *** Thank you

Teaching style

I believe learning should be fun and relevant to the student. All students are capable of learning, given the right materials and strategies.

My own education history

I have a B.A, in elementary and special education and a M.A. in special education.
