The is a multi-level, tactile sorting activity designed to help learners with ASD develop a functional understanding of their environment. By moving from concrete objects (icons) to abstract concepts (categories) and finally to syntax (sentence strips), the learner builds a mental framework for how a home is organized.

Experience
I have been working as a special education teacher since 2012. I have experience in Kindergarten, Upper Elementary and Middle School curriculum. Teaching style
As a behavior analyst I use behavior science principals to guide my teaching style and skill mastery, using reinforcement and prompting to increase the likelihood of correct responses. I am a believer in the individuals autonomy and individual assent to care and learning.
