I have taught in special education for over ten years. I worked in a resource classroom for the first few years and then spent six years teaching life skills in a self-contained special education classroom. I earned my Master's in counseling and worked for our Special Education Department as a related service provider for counseling. From there, I became a special education coordinator and worked closely with special education teachers, helping them with student behaviors, assessments, modifying and adapting materials, and planning. I have always enjoyed making stylish classroom decor and am excited to bring that style element to my storefront. New Student- Special Education Form
When a new student comes to class there are several things that take priority to everything else. I made this document after enrolling several new students this year. It has simplified my life tremendously by having a guide to go by when speaking with parents of new students. It also helps tremendously to fill out one of these on each student at the beginning of the year so that paras and teachers have a quick guide to go by per student.

I focus on having a student centered classroom. I also realize that in order to run a student centered classroom there are many forms and materials that teachers and staff need and I enjoy making them fun and functional.
