About the store

My certification is K-6 and Special Education. I taught Pre-K for 2 years after I graduated. Then, I substitute taught in different public schools in my area. Now I have been teaching Special Education for the past 8 years. I currently am a self-contained autism teacher.

As a self-contained teacher myself, I am always looking for ways to plan for my individual and small group lessons, plan for IEPs, and keep track of IEP data. Experience

Teaching style

I use lots of visual aides to help guide my students. I also use hands-on activities with the use of manipulatives to keep them engaged. I also use technology frequently. My students love sing along videos.

My own education history

I graduated from Kean University with my certification in K-6 General and Special Education.

Additional biographical information

I have always lived by the quote "Love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life." This is very true for me. I love teaching! It has been a passion of mine since I was little. Some of my other passions are cooking, baking, snowboarding, geology, and Netflix!
