Experience

I bring over 14 years of experience in special education, both as a SPED teacher and currently as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas. My work focuses on developing compliant, functional IEPs, supporting inclusive learning, and creating data-driven tools that truly work in classrooms.

Teaching style

My teaching style blends structure, flexibility, and accessibility. I believe in meeting students where they are — using visuals, assistive tools, and differentiated goals to build confidence and measurable progress.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’ve received district-wide recognition for creating highly structured SPED classrooms and earned praise for my goal-writing tools during ARD reviews. I’m most proud when teachers say my resources save them time and help them advocate more effectively.

My own education history

I hold two Master’s degree in Special Education and I’m completing my Educational Diagnostician certification through Region 10 in Texas. I’ve also served as Head of Inclusion in international schools and continue to stay aligned with TEA and SPED best practices.
