About the store

Experience

I've taught in many different environments including a preschool setting, a daycare setting, a church setting, and in my home. Currently, I am teaching special education students in a Montessori setting.

Teaching style

I am a person who learns how my students learn and tries to teach in that style, most often with hands-on materials. I've taught skills several times to reach a student. My most effective method is through relationships with my students. I feel strongly that I can best reach my students when we have an honest and fun relationship.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have a degree in Special Education (SLD, DD) and general education. I have also received my masters in Special Education (ABS).

My own education history

I attended Winona State University for both my undergrad and my graduate degrees.
