I taught regular education math and science in the middle grades for 15 years and then made the transition to special education where I have taught math, ela, and social studies. My own education history
I have BS in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Worked in the mental health field working with adults then children and youth. After working in the schools with the mental health agency I decided I wanted to become a teacher. I then got my MAT, EdS, and finally my EdD.

I am happily married with three children and two grandchildren.
