Get to know your students with this fun and interactive face glyph.
Students answer questions about themselves to create a silly "self portrait."
Students can also interview each other and create a silly portrait of their friend.
This can also be used for a great back to school writing activity OR use it at Back to School night and see if parents can find their child.

Experience
I have been teaching special education since 2006. I have taught students with Autism, ADHD, Emotional Disturbances, Learning Disabilities, and Downs Syndrome.
Teaching style
I believe in teaching the whole child. I believe in a hands-on approach to learning. Students with disabilities need many opportunities to attain their goals. It's important to celebrate the small successes because small successes turn into big changes.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have been recognized as my school's Reading Teacher of the Year and Teacher of the Year (twice).
My own education history
I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from James Madison University.
