About the store

Experience

Teaching students with unique needs can feel overwhelming; but it doesn’t have to be. I’m a special education teacher with 15+ years of experience and a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I create ready-to-use resources that make behavior management and IEP support simple, effective, and stress-free. My tools are built to save you time, boost student success, and give you practical strategies you can use tomorrow.

Teaching style

I believe teaching should be clear, supportive, and joyful. My style blends structure and creativity; I use explicit, systematic instruction to give students the tools they need while also creating space for curiosity, collaboration, and celebrating every success, big or small.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my shining teacher moments include watching students who once struggled to read gain the confidence to finish a book aloud, and having families share that my support transformed how their child felt about school. I’ve also been recognized by school leaders for my ability to design clear systems for student success and was honored to lead district-level work in special education and school improvement. Below you'll see some of my professional highlights.Teacher of the Year recipient, honored for excellence in instruction, student growth, and family engagement. 1. Recognized as a district-wide leader in Special Education (EDBD) for aligning MTSS, IEPs, and instructional best practices. 2. Served as Managing Director of Impact at City Year Memphis, leading AmeriCorps programming and earning praise for partnership alignment with school and district leaders. 3. Selected for leadership roles and advanced endorsements (Special Education across GA, TN, IL; Illinois Principal Endorsement), demonstrating consistent excellence in teaching and leadership.

My own education history

I earned my B.S. in Special Education from Jackson State University and later pursued two master’s degrees: one in Curriculum & Instruction with an ABA emphasis from the University of Memphis, and another in Educational Leadership from Argosy University. I also hold multiple special education teaching certifications (GA, TN, IL) and an Illinois Principal Endorsement, which reflect my passion for lifelong learning and leadership.

Additional biographical information

I’m a lifelong educator who has worked in classrooms, coached teachers, and even led districtwide programs; but my heart is always with students who need a little extra support to shine. I love creating resources that make reading approachable, behavior manageable and teaching engaging, and fun for learners at all levels. As both a teacher and a mom, I know how important it is to have practical, ready-to-use tools that make learning stick.
