Using the Addition Strip Board, the child practices the sequence of addition combinations 1–9 and begins the process of memorization of the addition tables. If you are trying to teach your child/student the concept of multiplication, this would be the ideal material to help practice and consolidate the skills. The instructions and a self-correction chart are also included in this deck. Once the child masters the multiplication equations provided in this deck, the child could use their own equations, and answer and use the self-correction card to check the answers.

This deck includes an activity which would help the child practice his/her spelling skills. The adult could ask the child to look at the picture and name it. The adult could break down the word as "b..e..d" and help the child identify the sounds within the word. The child could pick out ht sounds he/she hears from the alphabet box and place them on the mat to form the word. once the child has formed the word, the child could move on to the next page and read the word formed with the adult.
