Teaching style

My personal therapy philosophy is that both children and adults learn speech and language in naturalistic settings that promote functional communication, intrinsic motivation, and real-life solutions. I seek to empower my patients/students and their families through individualized instruction.

Additional biographical information

I've been married to my biggest supporter and cheerleader for 13 years. We have three precious daughters, ages 9, 7, and 18 months. I enjoy spending time with them and our big extended families, hiking, gardening, antiques, singing and trying to play instruments, cooking, and reading. My goal with this account (and my other ones) is to help hard-working SLPs with EBP resources that are effective and affordable.
