Hallie Sherman, M.S. CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York. She worked in the public schools for over 15 years before she left the schools to work as the CEO full time for Speech Time Fun, Inc. At Speech Time Fun, Inc. Hallie provides materials and trainings for SLPs working with grades 4-12 to help them plan with ease and confidence. Teaching style
I believe that even older speech students can be successful when provided with the appropriate materials and support. Using graphic organizers, visual aids, and materials at their independent reading levels, students grades 4-12 can get quick wins and be successful. Using materials that are engaging and incorporating their interests also eliminates the need for prize bins and other external motivators.

I have written two guest blog posts for the ASHA Leader Blog. I have also been featured in the ASHA Leader Blogjam section. My own education history
I have a BA in communicative disorders and sciences from the University at Buffalo and a MS in speech-language pathology from Adelphi University. I am certified through ASHA. I also have a NYS teaching certification for speech-language pathology (TSSLD).
