Workout Words are powerful tools anyone working with the cognitively impaired with dysphagia must have in their treatment arsenal. Workout Words tap into the residual abilities of READING short words and phrases, or REPEATING spoken words. Workout Words target specific muscles used in chewing and swallowing through articulation. Workout Words are perfect when you tell your client to “lick the roof of your mouth” and you are met with a blank stare. All word lists are: LARGE PRINT (18pt or higher)
