About the store
Hi, I’m Aerial, a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with 4 years of experience helping children grow their communication skills with confidence. As the founder of Speech Cactus PLLC, I combine creativity with evidence-based strategies to deliver fun, functional therapy that truly sticks. I started creating and sharing resources on Teachers Pay Teachers to make high-quality, engaging materials more accessible for both clinicians and families. I saw a need for tools that were not only effective, but also easy to use and motivating for kids—and I love being able to support other SLPs while extending my impact beyond my own caseload. I’m passionate about empowering families and making speech and language development feel approachable, engaging, and successful. 🌵

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Francis Marion University. My education provided a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, which I use to support children’s communication development in meaningful and effective ways.

Additional biographical information

I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and now live the adventure of being a proud Navy wife. Life has taken me to new places and given me a flexible, resilient mindset that carries into both my personal life and my work. At home, I’m a dog mom to two golden retrievers, Nugget and Waffles, who keep life fun, active, and full of personality.
