Speech Therapy: Daily Speech Note to Parent

Looking for a new way to communicate with parents on a daily basis? Use these daily communication sheets to let teachers and parents know how students/client do in therapy each day. You can also check if they have been assigned homework (which I usually staple to this sheet). Copy onto colored paper (to easily locate) and cut into fours (to save paper). Enjoy!

Speech Therapy: Therapy Schedule Template

How do YOU schedule your students? I have been using this form for the past few years and find it VERY helpful at the beginning of year when trying to put together a (seems like "ever-changing") schedule. Easy to type in students (I usually put if they are speech or language in parentheses right after their name, i.e., Johnny Appleseed - S or John Smith - L) and how many minutes they are seen individually or in a group. Highlight names and drag to different boxes when rearranging groups.

Have students earn stamps (or you can even use stickers) for participation during therapy. I purchase the blue and red self-inking round stamps from office supply stores. When they earn ten stamps they will earn a trip to the treasure box. It's tough to find things that motivate students these days, but this continues to be successful!

Additional biographical information

My mission is to create practical, efficient, and interesting materials for therapists and other professionals to use in order to provide and document therapeutic services in an organized manner. As a pediatric school-based speech-language pathologist, I know how precious time is and how much more important it is to spend time providing quality therapy services rather than planning or documenting therapy notes. I hope you find my creations useful. Please let me know if you have any requests :)
