By two years old, children should start incorporating verbs into two-word phrases. For example, "Mummy look", "Wash Teddy". I've put together a visual of some of the early verbs that children tend to learn first. I love to use this visual with families when planning goals.

A helpful way for students to self-reflect on their lesson. I love sending these home with my students if I am doing school-based sessions. I write feedback for the parents in the note section and allow the student to fill out their own reflection on the lesson. I really like these feedback notes as it gives the student a sense of accountability during the lesson.
