Speech & Language Learning That Pops SpeechPop Studio was created by a school-based speech-language pathologist with experience supporting elementary-aged students and children who use devices or Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) to communicate. After years of working directly with students in schools, one thing became clear: therapists, teachers, and families all want meaningful ways to support communication. SpeechPop Studio was built to support the village. Our resources focus on the five domains of language-phonology, morphology, semantics, syntax, and pragmatics- while also supporting AAC and real-world communication skills. Each activity is designed to be engaging, practical, and easy to implement so professionals and families can spend less time prepping and more time supporting communication. The inspiration for SpeechPop Studio also comes from home. As a parent of three young children, language and storytelling are part of everyday life. My husband loves creating stories to help our kids learn new words, explore ideas, and build communication skills in playful ways. That same spirit of curiosity, creativity, and connection influences the resources created at SpeechPop Studio. At its core, SpeechPop Studio is about helping families, therapists, and educators spend less time preparing materials and more time building lasting relationships with the children and families they support- because communication grows best through connection.
