Experience

M.S. CCC-SLP (Speech-language pathologist) working in K-8th grade schools. I have a Master's in speech-language pathology and Bachelor's degrees in speech pathology & audiology and Spanish.

Teaching style

I take on a student-centric, strengths-based approach with an emphasis on naturalistic play and literacy. I value literacy and try to incorporate reading passages and books into sessions as much as possible. In every session, I try to incorporate learning, whether that's about nature, science, or history. I also believe that multiple goals can often be targeted through naturalistic approaches by following our students' leads.
