I whipped up these bookmarks to share with each class at my school during our Random Acts of Kindness Week! Each has a kindness quote and backline picture to color. I plan to laminate my students' bookmarks when they are finished coloring. Hope you enjoy this forever freebie!
Students can create these fun snowmen and practice creating compound words! Have students cut out the pieces and build a snowman. Glue the pieces to a black/navy blue sheet of paper and create snowflakes with a white crayon. Have students write the two root words that are used to create a compound word on the earmuffs. Write the new compound word on the band of the earmuffs.
Optional: Have students write a story to explain what they think snowmen do at night!

This is such a fun activity for students who have just returned from Spring Break. Pass out this printable and let students roam to find classmates who have completed the activities listed in each box. When they find someone who has completed the activity, the student should sign their name. You’ll soon hear lots of conversations about Spring Break and your kiddos will get to catch up with their classmates.
