I currently teach a Self Contained Special Education class grades K-5, this is my fifth year teaching this class. I also taught resource, grades 3-5 for 5 years as well as 3 year old pre-school for a year. I truly love my job! My students teach me something new every day!

Color and Object Matching
Matching colors, shapes, and objects are beginning skills that are critical in early childhood. This is also a skill many students with autism struggle with. This makes a great work task for both a preschool classroom or a classroom for students with Special Needs. Students should be busy bees at all times to help prevent problem behaviors from occurring.
