About the store
In addition to homeschooling my 4 sons, I also worked on staff at a private Christian school. I currently write and teach bible studies and tutor several homeschooled children in language arts, history, bible, and science. My educational experience is in Business Administration. I focused on advertising, design, organization and management. That has come in handy when crafting my own resources for the classroom. My passion is teaching our history using genealogy. By trade and current profession I am also a writer so language arts ranks high on my list.

Teaching style
I know that if you give a child structure while allowing them opportunities to freely explore, then you will begin to see their passions and gifts emerge. I also firmly believe that if a child can access information, even a minimal amount, from a "how does it affect me," hands on, eyes on, ears open approach then they can truly learn and live what they are being taught. I try to give multiple teaching points for all of these learning styles. It has been effective in all of my students.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I am a best selling author for the title Pursuit of Proverbs 31. My work has been featured in Woman's Day Magazine, Inside Out Programming, Huffington Post, TouchVision TV, and was the feature story and cover girl for Christian Women Online Magazine in August of 2008.
My own education history
Associates Degree in Business Administration plus numerous continuing education courses.
