This lesson helps students learn where U.S. agriculture commodities are produced by looking at the top states that produce them. It's a great way to capture interest and fun for students to participate in.

These lessons were originally designed for high school agbusiness classes. They can be used elsewhere as well. The assignment is included in the presentation. This lesson is jam packed with some higher level information. I often took 2 days for it and used some YouTube videos to better explain the topic.

This presentation and assignments are sourced from "The Science of Animal Agriculture." This is the book (cited on the last slide) I used for my Animal Science class. Some information and assignments I came up with on my own over the years. You do NOT have to have the book to use this powerpoint. It is pretty thorough and non of the assignments require a book. This presentation would work well for Animal Science or Ag Science.

Teach first year ag students or science students the parts of an egg and what they do. Includes lesson plan, lab, presentation, and quiz.

This is a great basic introduction to horse coat colors and their markings. Best used for jr high ag or freshman classes. There is 10 ID practice slides at the end. All images are referenced below each image.

Perfect for middle school or first year ag students. Can be used for science classes as well. Includes teaching materials (the presentation is in my shop or in the bundle), egg lab, and quiz.

Best used for Ag Business classes. These lessons are what I would start them out with before moving onto projects and such. It provides a good basis for applying business to agriculture. Students will learn what classifies a farm, the different kinds of farms based on ownership/operation, and an overview of what it takes to manage a farm. There are review questions on the last slide that you can use for class discussion or as an assignment.

Teach your students the scientific classification of agriculture animals. This is a great lesson for Animal Science or Intro to Ag. This lesson helps tie science or biology class to agriculture. Help students understand the importance of animal classification. Information in this powerpoint came from "The Science of Animal Agriculture." Here is where it starts to get a little tricky for some kids. This is for agribusiness classes. I use these presentations before starting projects. I have linked videos in this presentation that help students gain a better understanding of this new information. Students will learn import economic principles that they will need to understand to enter the business world for future farming operation. Discussion and questions are on the last slide.
