I have 20+ years of experience teaching grades 7 - 12, math and physics. I've spent the majority of the last several years teaching calculus and AP Calculus though I've also taught general and AP Physics 1 for a number of years. Due to a lack of curriculum support and resources, I've had to create my own material over the years to better support my students. This is part 3 of continuity and one-sided limits. I also included an additional example using the intermediate value theorem, which was introduced in part 2 of this set of notes. The assignment that appears on the solution key is based on our text book, 'Calculus' by Larson, 10e.

Teaching style
I have embraced the guided inquiry style of teaching. Inquiry, however, is quite time consuming. I therefore use supplemental direct instruction lessons about half of the time.
