About the store

Experience

I have over 15 years of experience providing behavioural supports in a variety of settings for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder, both in Canada and in Italy. I've helped my students acquire skills ranging from basic communication and play skills, to vocational skills, independent living skills and dating etiquette.

Teaching style

My teaching style is based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and 100% individualized and evidenced-based. The programs I write and materials I develop are tailored to fit the specific needs and learning styles of each one of my students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

The highest honor: improving my students' quality of life by supporting them to live meaningful and independent lives and facilitating age-based social experiences with peers. My biggest award: each time my students master a new skill. I also love making my students feel special... birthday celebrations are a must!

My own education history

I have a Specialized Honours BA in Psychology from a Canadian university and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in the UK.

Additional biographical information

I suffer from a serious case of wanderlust. I've travelled to 49 countries so far! I'm also bilingual (English and Italian), addicted to espresso, and can't live without my planner... or pizza!
