About the store

Experience

Hi Everyone! My name is Jordan and I have been an elementary teacher for over eight years. Currently I am home raising two beautiful boys while creating many hands-on learning activities for students to use in the classroom or at home.

Teaching style

I am a firm believer that every child learns best when they have hands-on learning experiences and can connect their learning to concrete experiences. Students in my classroom participated in a Math Workshop, Writing Workshop as well as a Balanced Literacy program in order to promote independence and engage in authentic writing and reading experiences. Right now my boys at home are always absorbed in fun, hands-on learning through play!

Awards & shining teacher moments

My own education history

I had always dreamed of becoming a teacher. After high school, I went on to pursue a career in education. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a B.S. in Special Education. I have two Masters' Degrees in Elementary Reading and Literacy as well as Elementary Mathematics.
