I normally begin all my lessons with a daily conversation with my students about the weather and how they feel for the day. Not only does it help build relationships with my students but it also allows them to practice speaking in Spanish about the weather and their emotions. This can also be used as a poster to decorate your classroom.

Students are given a chart with questions on the heading of the chart. Questions include "tienes tu propio dormitorio? de que color son las paredes...? etc. "Students walk around and ask their peers, they use the log to write down their peers answers. Upon completion they answer questions in writing related to their conversations with their peers.
