Experience
I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years. My experience varies from middle school Spanish 1 to AP Spanish.
Teaching style
I use various teaching styles that put my students into life-like scenarios. I keep my classes in the target language by using circumlocution and comprehensible input. I love to have my students up around the class and moving by using the language creatively. I try to encouage "fun" ways of learning to keep students interest and encourage a love of language.
Awards & shining teacher moments
My greatest accomplishment is taking students abroad with me so they can experience language and culture in the real world and become global citizens.
My own education history
I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
