About the store
I have experience teaching Spanish to K-8 and have been teaching Kindergarten and first grade in a Spanish immersion school for the last thirteen years. It is so exciting to see my kids learn a new language! I have been a part of the SLA/ELA curriculum writing team in the district, representing the Spanish immersion school for Kindergarten, worked on creating assessments based on CCSS, and have helped grow an immersion program.

Ready to Practice those pesky teen numbers in Spanish? Need your kids to identify groups of 10s and 1s with drawings or numbers? Play I Have, Who Has? or Yo Tengo, ¿Quién Tiene? in your class today! To Play: Each kid has a card, they must read "Yo tengo __, quién tiene __" and say the numbers. The student who has the next card goes and this continues. Focus on numbers 11 - 40 by counting with tens frames or reading numerals.

Teaching style
I believe that children are very important for shaping our future. Children’s minds are like sponges, when they are growing they are impressionable and have the ability to learn many things. Many of their core beliefs and views in life come from their early experiences, a big part of which is through their education. Through viewing each child as an individual, creating personal connections and exposing students to the diverse world around them, I am able to help children become well-rounded members of society.
