Using articles, videos, and online research, students will explore mutations and their effects on organisms. They will create an infographic of a genetic disease which can be used to participate in a Science Café allowing them to present their research. In my 6th grade class, I have students complete parts 1, 2, and 3 on the first day. They work on parts 4 & 5 day two. Day 3 is for building the final presentation slide deck.
