Since 1999 I've worked for Marion County Special Education Cooperative. This cooperative serves 5 school districts within the county and every year is a little different than the previous one for me. For the last 11 years, I have served on the infant-toddler team, Assistive technology team as well as the Autism team. In addition to this, I have served 2 school districts from preschool through high school. So, needless to say, I have gotten a lot of experience in many areas.
The majority of my caseload is preschool through elementary school.

Apraxia Sounds Book - Sounds in Isolation with gestural cues
The Apraxia Sounds Book targets sounds in isolation. Each sound is associated to an environmental sound rather than a letter and a gesture is paired with it. This helps to build a variety of sounds and builds confidence in learning speech sound production. This is particularly helpful in having the child's family be an active participant in helping their child increase the variety of speech sounds. Seasonal Vocabulary Targets - Defining and Describing
Inside you get 10 months of vocabulary targets for the upcoming school year. I combined the summer months into one unit. Interactive Articulation Notebook - early developing sounds
For a couple of years now, I've used interactive language notebooks and loved them. I've tried to use the same concept for students working on articulation with resources that I already have. Fast forward to this year when I've had a new para to train. I've also gotten the opportunity to train a para substitute. This was awesome yet daunting.
