Zones of Regulation Daily Tracker

If you have a student who uses the Zone of Regulation, this is great for tracking how often they fall into each zone. Every day when my student comes into class and checks in, they color the graph to indicate how they feel that morning. At the end of the month, I total the percentages for the month and review previous ones to calculate the year-to-date percentages. Parents love seeing the visual.

My classroom theme this year is 'Building Our Minds, Building Our Goals, Constructing Our Futures.' I created these flat signs that can be used in a display case like mine or on a bulletin board, and included pictures of my display. Sorry for the glare. We decorate it to match different seasons and holidays, as shown in one photo, where a pile of fall leaves is visible. These will be replaced with snowballs for winter. During Halloween, we had a haunted construction site with spider webs, ghosts

These can be used in a variety of ways, but the reason I designed these was to write behavior reminders. I put a "Be Statement" on the wings and examples of showing that behavior on each stripe. An example would be writing Be on one wing and Responsible on the other wing with stripes saying "have materials ready," "charge Chromebook," "use time wisely," and "complete your work."

As my 5th graders are practicing their typing skills, I have made a leaderboard to celebrate their achievements. In the column that says class name, I put their homeroom teacher's name. You could also put the class period or any other way to distinguish groups. We are using typing.com which will tell about speed and accuracy each week. I fill in the information from the last week before class. I have laminated the paper, so I can write names in with dry erase markers and clean it off to make it
