My classroom theme this year is 'Building Our Minds, Building Our Goals, Constructing Our Futures.' I created these flat signs that can be used in a display case like mine or on a bulletin board, and included pictures of my display. Sorry for the glare. We decorate it to match different seasons and holidays, as shown in one photo, where a pile of fall leaves is visible. These will be replaced with snowballs for winter. During Halloween, we had a haunted construction site with spider webs, ghosts

These can be used in a variety of ways, but the reason I designed these was to write behavior reminders. I put a "Be Statement" on the wings and examples of showing that behavior on each stripe. An example would be writing Be on one wing and Responsible on the other wing with stripes saying "have materials ready," "charge Chromebook," "use time wisely," and "complete your work."
9 small posters about different character traits. Focus on a different character trait each month or leave them all up year round as reminders. The 9 posters are Respect, Fairness and Cooperation, Citizenship, Caring/Kindness, Responsibility, Trust and Honesty, Determination, Integrity and Perseverance.
I made this for my class to do during our Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone unit. They had to research in the book and online to find the answers and this let them learn about each house's values, members, symbolism. I suggest doing this sheet after reading the Sorting Hat chapter.
